Job Description: The Generalist

We’re looking for sharp generalists who can learn fast, move with clarity, and contribute across product, operations, research, and systems.

You’ll work directly with founders, engineers, and designers to solve real problems — often before they’re fully defi ned. This is not a support role. You’ll help build the tools, workfl ows, and strategies that make our core team faster and more effective.

We build AI-native internal systems first — and only bring them to market once they prove real leverage. You’ll be involved in that loop: exploring problems, designing prototypes, running internal tests, and shaping infrastructure we may eventually spin out.

What you’ll do

  • Work from scratch: map messy workflows into structured UX flows and functional interfaces

  • Prototype quickly to validate ideas — internally first, users later

  • Drive interface logic, layout, and interactions with minimal handholding

  • Collaborate directly with product and engineering to define how tools work, not just how they look

  • Create design primitives and patterns that become the foundation for future systems

  • refactor UX as complexity increases — scale smart, not fragile

  • Help define how internal tools evolve into user-facing experiences

What you bring

  • Experience designing real systems — not just screens. You understand how workflows unfold over time.

  • Ability to prototype quickly using Figma, code, or any tool that helps you move

  • Strong instincts for interaction, clarity, and reducing cognitive load

  • Comfort designing without full specs — you can help defi ne problems, not just solve them

  • A bias toward clean logic, not just clean visuals

  • High trust and low ego — open to feedback, direct in communication

  • Ability to zoom between UX, interaction logic, and product-level reasoning

Nice to have (but not required)

  • Experience with internal tools, productivity platforms, or modular system design

  • visual design range (branding, typography, layout)

  • Familiarity with LLM-integrated or AI-augmented products

Why this contribution matters

Every product we build starts with our own team — and if it’s not intuitive for us, it won’t work for anyone else. That means UX is core from day one. You’ll help defi ne how ideas become usable, how workfl ows become intuitive, and how smart systems feel simple.

If you care more about shaping how things work than following design trends — and you want to build tools that redefine what's possible for small, sharp teams — this is for you.
