Job Description: Product Lead
We’re looking for a sharp, systems-minded Product Lead to help us define, design, and ship AI-native products that materially improve how people work. This is not a “manage the roadmap” role. This is a thinking and doing role, where you’ll work directly with engineers, designers, and generalists to define what gets built, why it matters, and how it delivers leverage. You’ll be shaping products that start as internal tools — measured by how much they improve real human output — and evolve into standalone products once they consistently outperform their baseline. We’re not building apps that use AI. We’re building systems where AI fundamentally changes what’s possible
What you’ll do
Own product thinking from zero-to-one: define problems, test hypotheses, and build structured approaches to open-ended ideas
Work hands-on with engineering and design to move fast without breaking what matters
Translate messy thinking into clear specs, feedback loops, and tradeoff decisions
Prioritize ruthlessly — what we build is what we live inside
Create clarity by communicating goals, progress, and decisions without fluff
Help shape product strategy based on usage, experiments, and internal velocity, not just market research
What you bring
A strong product instinct — knowing when something works and when it’s just noise
Experience building early-stage products, ideally with systems or technical complexity
Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping structure through iteration
Understanding of modern software architecture, engineering workflows, and design systems (you don’t need to code, but you should speak the language)
Clear, concise communication — written and spoken. No filler, no status theater
Thoughtfulness about when AI adds real value — and when it doesn’t.
Nice to have (but not required)
Background in research-heavy product development, internal tools, or AI-assisted workflows
Experience launching products that started from scratch — not just scaling something that already worked
Familiarity with agents, workflows, or productized automation
Why this contribution matters
We’re a small team building ambitious systems. The quality of our product decisions directly impacts how fast we can build, how clearly we can think, and how much we can punch above our weight. You’ll be central to that.
If you’re looking for titles, playbooks, or stable cross-functional structures — this isn’t it. But if you want deep process ownership, end-to-end responsibility, real impact, and a tight feedback loop between thinking and doing, this might be the most interesting product role you’ll ever have.
